Title: Twilight
Author: Stephenie Meyer
Pages: 498, Hardcover
Audience: Ages 12+
Summary:
Isabella Swan's move to Forks, a small, perpetually rainy town in Washington, could have been the most boring move she ever made. But once she meets the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, Isabella's life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. Up until now, Edward has managed to keep his vampire identity a secret in the small community he lives in, but now nobody is safe, especially Isabella, the person Edward holds most dear. The lovers find themselves balanced precariously on the point of a knife-between desire and danger.Deeply romantic and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight captures the struggle between defying our instincts and satisfying our desires. This is a love story with bite.
Review:
So, first of all, this review is long overdue and I apologize for that, but I just wanted to get my opinion out there... especially since this review site has a Twilight Fanfic page to begin with. Now on to the review!

Twilight is definitely a great bestseller, even though there are those who would disagree. To each their own I guess.. It has that great love story with a twist that you just can't get enough of. Although this is a great series that I know many of us enjoy and are diehard fans, there are always going to be flaws that could be pointed out.
First, onto the good points! The love story between Bella and Edward is definitely a connection that makes you want to wish for yourself. You've got to give Stephenie props on writing this fantastic love story. She sure made Edward everybody's dream guy and made me want an Edward for myself.. minus the drinking blood and being able to out live me of course, but everything else is perfect. I think it's great that she includes some action into the books, so that it's not too lovey-dovey and mushy. It had a great plot and the characters were AMAZING, but unfortunately we have to get to the flaws of the book.
Stephenie wrote these wonderful stories that most of us would definitely love to relate to. However, there were some flaws that I just need to get off my chest. I'm sad to say that although the plot makes you want to read more, there were definitely parts where I felt could have been improved or elaborated. I really hate to say this even more, but there were parts where, if I wasn't such an avid reader, I probably would have tried to skip over.
Twilight definitely has its ups and downs, but it definitely was an amazing story where I know I don't even want to forget.
Like it! YES!
Love it! Absolutely
Reread it! Already skimmed most of my favorite parts over and over again
Recommend it! Absolutely, especially if you're a diehard romantic like me
